Pay Scale: (Basic pay of Rs. 23900 in the Pay Band
of Rs.15, 600 – Rs. 39,100 with AGP of Rs. 8,000 initially at the time
of recruitment. After completing three years the candidates will be
eligible for the Pay Band of Rs. 37,400 – Rs. 67,000 and AGP of Rs.
9,000 as per UGC rules.
Qualifications:
i. A Master’s Degree in library science/information science/documentation with atleast 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record.

ii. Five years experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian.
iii. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of
